AXXIS Technology named Small Business Champion for 4th time

2007 award to add to 2006, 2004 and 2003 awards

AXXIS Technology has been named Champion Information Technology at the NSW & ACT Small Business Champion Awards held at The Westin on Saturday 13 October, 2007.

Covering over 33 categories, the Small Business Champion Awards celebrates the proud achievements of small business across NSW & ACT.

Small business is thriving!  This was clearly the message broadcast as winners were announced.

The 2007 NSW & ACT Small Business Champion Awards is a prestigious program celebrating the many achievements of small business across NSW & ACT.

?The Small Business Champion Awards is a celebration of small business and its contribution to the Australian way of life?, said Steve Loe, Managing Director of Program Managers - Precedent Productions.  ?When the Champions Judges evaluate a submission, they are looking at all aspects of a winning business; business strategies, customer service, vision, support of the local community and growth, just to name a few.  It?s not always about money.  There are many small business owners who will never be millionaires, but whose contribution is invaluable?, Mr. Loe said.

Award recipients were delighted to receive their trophies - to have their passion, dedication, commitment and hard work celebrated amongst their peers was an occasion they?ll never forget.

The NSW & ACT winners will represent their category against other states on a national level at the Australian Small Business Champion Awards to be held in Sydney on the 3rd November 2007.

Amanda Holyoake and Jason Wheatland from the AXXIS Technology Dubbo store were on hand to collect the award on Saturday night. ?It was exciting to be in the presence of over 1000 people involved in small business and I learnt a great deal from just talking to some of the other business people?, said Ms Holyoake. ?To be actually named a Champion in the presence of some other wonderful businesses was the highlight of the night.?
