AXXIS Technology P/L (originally named M.A.D. Industries) was founded by Mathew Dickerson in December 1989.
The business originally started selling and installing communication and computer equipment.
In 1995, the name was changed from M.A.D. Industries P/L to AXXIS Technology P/L. The name change, along with the overall professionalism at AXXIS Technology has moved the company into the corporate sector whilst maintaining presence in the retail sector.
In September 2000 AXXIS Technology moved to a newly refitted premises in Talbragar Street allowing the business to expand with the growing demand of local information Technology services in Dubbo and the surrounding area and our ever-increasing staff numbers. In the same premises The AXXIS Technology Training Centre was also opened offering a Sylvan Prometric Authorised Testing Centre and a Microsoft Certified Technical Education Centre to central New South Wales. Previously there were no such centres outside of capital cities.
AXXIS Technology is currently a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and an A+ Certified Service Centre.
In 2006 the direction of the company changed to more align itself with the growing needs of extremely stable computing environments for the business sector. The ability to offer highly available and extremely stable computing environments was achieved by partnering with companies such as IBM, Lenovo, Toshiba, Cisco and Linksys.
AXXIS won the Partner of the Year 2006 (Small Business Specialist) at the worldwide Microsoft Partner Conference. This award acknowledges AXXIS Technology's place as one of the leading IT companies in Australia.
In 2008 AXXIS was named the best IT Business in Australia at the national Small Business Champions Awards.
